Sanctuary Care – our homes in Worcestershire

At Sanctuary Care our vision of keeping kindness at the heart of our care underpins everything we do.

We have nine care homes in the beautiful county of Worcestershire, providing a range of residential, dementia and respite care.

Our staff are carefully chosen for their kind and compassionate nature and pride themselves on caring for our residents as though they were members of their own family.

For many of our residents moving into a care home has enabled them to continue leading happy lives whilst providing the opportunity to make new friends and rekindle old past times. And for their loved ones they have peace of mind, knowing their mother or father is being cared for in wonderful surroundings.

Our two care homes in Worcester, including our new flagship care home Juniper House Residential Care Home mentioned below, are in St John’s. Our other county care homes are situated in the rural areas of Malvern, Upton-upon-Severn and Pershore, the canal-side town of Stourport-on-Severn, as well as Droitwich, Bromsgrove and Redditch in north Worcestershire.

Juniper House is our stunning new home situated in a residential area, within walking distance of the centre of St John’s.

Our dedicated and caring team support our residents to live life to the full in luxurious surroundings.

A home from home

Our spacious 60 bedrooms have en-suite wet rooms, internet access and telephone and television points. We can also provide rooms for couples so that they can remain together.

Residents are encouraged to make their rooms their own by bringing personal ornaments, pictures and small items of furniture.

Juniper House is a beautiful home with light and airy lounges and an orangery, which are beautifully decorated and furnished. These are areas for our residents to use as they wish, whether taking part in activities, catching up with friends and family or simply reading a good book.

Our dining rooms provide a welcoming atmosphere to enjoy delicious home-cooked meals in the company of others.

The gardens are landscaped and are the perfect spot for our residents who like to do a spot of light gardening.

Living life to the full

We believe it is important that our residents spend their time as they choose, so have a dedicated activities person to support them to take part in interesting activities, rekindle old past times and try new things.

The home is next door to a central hub, creating a real community feel.

Our residents have full use of these facilities, which include a hairdressing salon, café, restaurant and activity rooms.
