Mark Hamer, the owner, knows Worcestershire well, having lived in the county for several years as well as running businesses in the area.

A very personal experience of seeing a close loved one in care lead Mark to question why more people could not be cared for longer in their own homes. Having learnt about Home Instead Senior care in great detail Mark found an organisation that was genuinely committed to changing the way care is delivered, with an emphasis on the Individual rather than the task, and Home Instead Worcester was started as a result.

Mark saw that Home Instead is compassionate, personalised approach to care was unique and that the quality of its home-care services was its number one priority; something that he feels passionately about. ‘We choose our caregivers for their compassion, reliability and empathy; we also look at their particular interests so that we can carefully match our clients and caregivers one to one. All of our caregivers are fully trained to ensure they have the specific skills and approach we require. We also thoroughly vet all caregivers and we are uncompromising in our insistence for six references.’
