Flow Physio and Pilates is based in Torquay. Flow aims to provide honest, professional treatment and advice on the management of musculoskeletal disorders, as well as Pilates, acupuncture and sports massage.
We are passionate about living a healthy, balanced lifestyle and offer treatment and support to achieve this. We love making the most of our beautiful coastline of Torbay and the surrounding South Devon and work hard to integrate this into what we offer, creating exciting Lifestyle and Pilates experiences such as ‘Pilates in the Park’.

At Flow we feel it is really important to assess each client fully, identifying relevant issues relating to your pain and addressing these with you, ensuring you understand each step.
Although manual techniques can be beneficial, be prepared to get up and move with Flow – it’s what we are designed to do!
Many musculoskeletal conditions can benefit from Physiotherapy; from strains and sprains to arthritis and from fractures to back pain. We avoid listing conditions and treatments, as we believe it is important to assess each individual and tailor advice to this.
For more information on whether physiotherapy, or other services offered (such as acupuncture or sports massage) may benefit you, please get in touch.

Pilates at Flow is unique as it is taught by a Chartered Physiotherapist; so you can feel confident that any injuries/health conditions will be assessed by an expert and taken into account during your Pilates sessions.
So often we hear about how you can’t do certain exercises because of injury, whereas at Flow we like to work out a way in which the exercise can be modified so that anyone can enjoy the benefits Pilates.
The aim is to provide an environment where everyone involved is able to gain the optimum benefit from participation.
In order to enable all those who participate in Pilates classes to feel confident in their own ability and progress, it is important to ensure that each individual is aware of the basic principles of Pilates and how to relate these to their body and participate safely.
Typically a Pilates session will start with a warm up followed by the main body of the class which will often target specific areas of the body, combining a selection of strengthening, stretching and mobility exercises, designed at a level to suit you. The classes are a variety of standing and mat-based exercises, which can incorporate small equipment such as the magic circle and theraband.

Following the session you will be grateful for a gentle cool down, which is often accompanied by relaxation – ensuring you leave feeling calm, invigorated and content.
At Flow we understand that it is not always easy to get to appointments; be it due to personal commitments or mobility issues.
We are able to offer treatment in an environment that suits you; usually your home or office, but we will equally be happy to meet you on the beach!
Please get in touch and we can discuss your needs and how we are able to accommodate them. We always aim to offer a fair and accessible service; so we will do all we can to ensure the prices reflect this.
